The new Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War and warzone Season 4 will be dropping on June 17. And these are the 5 new weapons/guns that will come to Warzone with it. The weapons that will be coming include 2 SMGs, 1 AR, 1 LMG and 1 Melee weapon.
I have listed the weapons below with their individual characteristics below. At the end of this post, I have also mentioned which of these new guns could be the next META for Warzone Season 4. These are the weapons you should be levelling up first. Let’s have a look.
C58 Assault Rifle (AR) – At Launch
The C58 will have a high damage output, slow fire rate, fast bullet velocity, low recoil and low ammo capacity.
Does that sound familiar to you? Of course, its an AMAX replacement. Raven Software have been trying to nerf the AMAX for long. They finally found a way to do that without completely ruining the AMAX. This weapon will dominate as a long range AR and might even beat the AMAX.
The new C 58 AR will be the top contender for the Meta in Season 4 of Call of Duty Warzone. It will be available at Launch and you will be able to grab it at Tier 31 of the Season 4 Battle Pass.
Nail Gun Sub-Machine Gun (SMG) – At Launch
The Nail Gun will have a high damage up close, slow fire rate and very good mobility.
This new weapon in Warzone Season 4 may not become the people’s choice because of it’s slow fire rate. A slow fire rate means that if you miss even a singe shot, your TTK (Time to Kill) drops significantly. Therefore, this gun will require some skill and good accuracy.
The new Nail Gun SMG will be available at Launch. You will be able to unlock it via in-game challenge mission or via buying a cosmetic bundle with the weapon blueprint from the store.
MG 82 Light-Machine Gun (LMG) – At Launch
The MG 82 will have moderate damage output, highest fire rate among other LMGs, moderate recoil, fast ADS (Aim Down Sight) speed and high ammo capacity.
This weapon will be a serious rival for other top LMGs right now in Warzone like the Stoner and PKM. We will wait to see how it turns out to be. It will certainly be a good choice for those long range engagements paired with an SMG for close quarters.
The new MG82 LMG will be available at Launch and you will be able to grab it at Tier 15 of the Season 4 Battle Pass.
OTs 9 Sub-Machine Gun (SMG) – In Season
The OTs 9 will have very high damage output, extremely fast fire rate, medium to high recoil and very low magazine capacity of 20 (without mag attachment).
This new gun in Warzone Season 4 will be a perfect SMG. The only downside are the recoil and ammo capacity with are must to balance the weapon and not make it game breaking. It will be an ideal SMG for close quarters.
The new OTs9 SMG will be available in Season. You will be able to unlock it via in-game challenge mission or by buying a cosmetic bundle with the weapon blueprint from the store.
Mace Melee – In Season
The Mace is a Melee weapon and hence just a fancy addition to the game. It will be nice to see some good executions and clips with this weapon.

New SEASON 4 META Prediction
According to me, the C58 will dominate Verdansk 84 as an AR and will be the best choice for a long range weapon Warzone. Also, the OTs 9 will be powerful in the SMG category. The MG 82 LMG will be a beamer for sure but I can’t conclude it’s feasibility yet.
As for the Nail Gun SMG, I have my doubts whether it will be much viable. I could be absolutely wrong, but we have to wait and see.
My final opinion on which gun you should be levelling up first and fast is the C58 AR for sure, so that you are way ahead of others. It will be the META most probably.
