Best CX-9 WARZONE Loadout | COD Season 5

The Best CX-9 Warzone loadout showcased here is extremely overpowered. The CX-9 SMG Modern Warfare when first released few seasons earlier, would beat most of the weapons and SMGs in CQB (Close Quarter Combat), if not every one of them. But the CX9 we finally got now, is not extremely overpowered or broken. It is a balanced weapon and can compete with the likes of MAC 10, but has a slower TTK than the MP5.

Some basic stats of CX-9 SMG in Warzone which makes it a beast are:

Extremely high fire-rate, good damage output, very good mobility, easy to control recoil.

Best CX-9 Warzone Class Setup

The CX-9 build shown below focuses on an overall mobile SMG with decent hip-fire and fast TTK. But remember, this new weapon is most effective in close range fights only.

The CX-9 attachments for a Meta Build are:

1. Barrel: CX-38S
2. Laser: 5mW Laser
3. Stock: CX-FR
4. Underbarrel: Merc Foregrip
5. Ammunition: 50 Round Drum

The properties of above CX9 SMG attachments shown above are further discussed in detail:

• The CX-38S barrel is recommended because it has an integrated suppressor. This gives us an extra attachment slot instead of a suppressor slot. Also, it increases the range, bullet velocity and recoil control. The cons of this barrel are reduced ADS and movement speeds which can be improved by the stock.
• The 5mW laser is a crucial attachment that reduces sprint to fire time and hip-fire spread for better CQB.
• The CX-FR stock increases the movement speed and ADS speed which we lost in the first attachment. It slightly increases the recoil which is not a big deal.
• The Merc Foregrip further reduces the hip-fire spread and the vertical recoil. Although, it slightly reduces your ADS and aim walking speeds.
• The 50 Round Drum mag allows you to shoot longer. This gun has very high fire-rate and requires huge ammo capacity so that you don’t have reload in between fights.

How to Unlock the CX 9 SMG in Warzone?

The CX-9 Modern Warfare has been in the game files for a long time but was not released officially. It can now be unlocked by doing the step shown below:

‘CX-9 SMG Unlock’ – Get 2 longshot kills with an SMG in 5 different matches.

You can also unlock it by purchasing the ‘SOAP Operator Bundle’ via the COD Store for 2400 COD Points. It gives you a cool looking “SERAC” blueprint for the new gun.

• Best paired with: Krig 6 Build / Stoner 63 Class Setup / C58 class
• Lethal Equipment: Semtex / C4 / Throwing Knife (or any other)
• Tactical Equipment: Heartbeat Sensor / Stun
• Perk 1: E.O.D.
• Perk 2: Overkill (grab Ghost or High Alert in your next loadout)
• Perk 3: Amped
